I was reminded today that it has been awhile since I updated Melody's blog. Sorry about that. So, I have posted all of the missing links and a new picture.

So I don't have time but I just want to let you know that I am doing
amazing!! Loving every minute!! I found out what honeysickles taste
like and how much the gopsel helps im life!!

Hello!!

How is everyone?? Thank you for all the birthday wishes!!! Today has
been great. I got to play volleyball, basketball, and soccer!!!
Great morning. :D

I am loving life right now!!! Hna Flori and Niky loved you all and
were very impressed. They also loved Mom's cooking!!!

I found out that some of you are surious about my everyday life. I
wake up every morning at 6:30. Then I do an ab work out because I
don't have room for much else. I will be jumproping soon!! I then
shower while my companion has personal study. Then we switch. I wish
we had more time to study!! Hahaha. We have Comp study at 9 AM and
then we leave at 10:00. Tuesday we have district meeting where we
talk about our investigators. Thursday we plan for the week in the
mornings. All the other days we just go straight to work at 10. We
Walk everywhere. right now we are doing a lot of contacting. Just
start talking to someone else that is walking or yell "buenos
dias/tardes" at a house. We normally have people to go teach but
after 2 or so lessons they don't want anything.. I don't understand
and it makes me sad... but the work of the Lord works better with
references. Right now we have two people that are really close to
baptism. Hna. Norma and Hno. Pablo. They are both contacts. I come
back to the house for lunch at 1 and leave at 3 no one recieves
because everyone is eating. then at night we are home by 8.

Why Hello!!1

I am loving life here in Mazate!! I have come to the conclusion that
it is good to talk about the worldly things I am learning as well as
the spiritual. With that being said... I descovered that I LOVE limes
on a lot of things!! Hahaha. Dad and I can be lime buddies when I get
home. Hahaha. I am also getting so dark!!! I have the worst tan
lines on my feet and shoulders. it will be slighty embarassing to
wear flip-flops when I have the chance. Hahaha. Thank you all for
the Christmas package I got. I loved everything!! Grandma- the pecan
rolls are delicious!! Thank you!!!

I have learned that I like finding the good in people. I am being
100% honest when I say that Hna. Ruiz is like a blood-sister to me. I
pick on her just like I do with Wendel= touching her ears and poking
etc. And she reacts just like Wendy too!!! Hahahaha. I love it and
it makes me laugh. Hahaha..

I am learning that Dad is no the only overprotective person... My
Zone Leader is the same with Hna. Ruiz and me. I am learning to be
patient. hahaha.

Please help the Lord's work move forward!!! It is all so much better
when we have references to to work with!!!

Hello there!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! I hope you all had a great holiday break and fun
time hanging out!! I don't feel like it is winter time at all and
therefore the holidays feel very much non-existent for me. Plus there
is dbasically NO ONE home here for the holidays. I felt like the
last two weeks have been a bit of a waste.... I'm glad it's not like
this all year. hahaha.

I have gained such a strong testimony of tithing this week. It is the
law of God that keeps most of my ward from going to the temple. Did
you know that you can't go to the temple if you aren't a full-tithe
payer? Yes it is that important to the Lord.. I hope you all can
test the Lord and see if He will bless you. I promise you with all of
my being that if you pay tithing you will recieve more blessings then
you can imagine!!!

i found those orange wheel-tihings that we eeat at home here!! I love them!!!!

I have had a few people ask if Hna Ruiz and I are sisters or cousins.
Hahaha. I think that is cool!!! Sisters in the Lord!!! I like
explaining that to peopel.

There is a member of the bishop´ric in my wrad that looks like Lonnie to me!!!

Hey All.

So I was able to talk to most of you on Christmas Day!!! That was so
good hearing from all of you!!! Thanks for being there. It was
really only only thing that I truly liked about the holidays!
Although we are taught that the holidays are the best time to find and
teach families, it was super hard. Everyone likes to go out for the
holidays. They go shopping or to the beach etc. with the family.
Therefore no one is really home. Those that are home don't recieve us
very willingly. So next year I will work hard to make it much better.
:) I think I learned!!

The only thing really to tell is that this morning I went to a super
beautiful place for a picnic!! This is seriously the place where
Joseph Smith prayed. Hahaha. Kidding... But I'm sending pictures of
the place.

I also helped make tamales on the 24th with a family from the ward.
It was interesting. I am still not a big fan of tamales. But the one
here are better than the ones we have eaten from Danny (next door at
home).

I made lunch with the other Hermanas for the Zone on Chirstmas day
too... It was fun. I don't know how the Elders talked us intomaking
food for 26 missionaries. Hahaha. But we did....
