Stolen...
Right now it is 1:22 in the morning and I just had a desire to write this down... Something happened that caused me to think about how fast Bubby and I got married. I think that it has been a wonderful marriage so far! We are so busy, however, that we never have time to sit and ponder. Pondering is a wonderful thing to do. It keeps us in touch with the Spirit and, therefore, God. Well, I got to thinking about how I am glad for the time that I have had out of the home I grew up in. I went to college and served a mission. I was able to experience life on my own in a sense. I had time to ponder and realize and grow and learn and appreciate my parents. Then I thought of Bubby... I have stolen that opportunity away from him! Our lives are so busy now that he is just starting to do all the pondering, realizing, growing, learning, and appreciating. I can't help but feel a bit like a thief. I've stolen his time to live away from family and on his own. I have also helped add to the overwhelmingly busy life we have now. Time stolen is definitely one thing that cannot be given back or replaced. I don't see life slowing down at all in the future, near or far. What is a wife to do when she has become a thief of the most precious commodity - Time? I hope Bubby's parents will forgive me for stealing their son! I also hope, with all my heart, that Bubby will forgive me for stealing his time from his family and himself! I didn't realize it had happened until now....

Our Love's Timeline
This weekend Bubby and I went to a homecoming for one of his mission companions. It was so fun to see Bubby hanging out and talking to his friends!! :) My favorite part of the afternoon was at the end. There was Bubby and three other returned missionaries from his mission (including the one that just got home). What I loved about this small group is that they felt so comfortable around me! Earlier, there was another RM that was obviously not comfortable that I was always around Bubby. Well.... It was obvious to me. Anyways, once that guy left, the others really started opening up and talking very loosely around me. It was so fun! The conversation eventually turned to the fact that Bubby had gotten married so fast and how he did it and how we met. This group of RMs were an amazing audience!! It was a blast telling them all that had happened in order for us to get married. :) This also got me thinking... Bubby and I haven't written this timeline down! What would happen if we start forgetting?? So I found the solution... Our blog!!
Here goes... Bubby and I met on Sunday, March 18, 2012. It was around 10:15 AM when we first talked!! (I know this because it was right after Sacrament Meeting!) Well, we started texting that same day and then Monday night I asked Louis if he wanted to go to the Draper Temple with me. I didn't have a temple buddy and I didn't want to go alone. :) Thankfully he said yes! So on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 9 AM Bubby picked me up for our first "hang out" as friends. It was a marvelous time!! I realized that day how much I already liked this guy!!! Then Bubby asked me if I wanted to go on an official date on Saturday, March 24, 2012. We went and played racquetball and I had never wanted to hold someones hand more. Plus, he was so cute when he dropped me of that I just had to touch his face! He read that differently than I planned... And our first kiss happened on Saturday, March 24, 2012 much to my pleasant surprise! Needless to say, we kept texting and talking and by Tuesday, March 27, 2012 we decided to go to the temple again!! While we arrived at the temple, Bubby was super open to me about how he was feeling. I told him that we were going to the temple to get guidance from God and that he could ask Him for help. Before we left, there was light talk about the possibility to get married. :D
Then when we got to my parents house, Bubby stayed around in order to talk to my dad... I had volleyball practice with my little girls so he had to face them all alone. So by the end of practice Bubby was done talking and he and I were officially boyfriend-girlfriend on March 27, 2012! The hard thing about that was the fact that two days later (Thursday) I left for a family vacation to visit my grandparents for a week. What a LONG week! That week was filled with wanting to be with Bubby and doubts that this relationship would last long. Not fun in that aspect! Fortunately, we survived that week. :) Being home helped a lot! We talked and texted daily and saw each other as often as the gas prices for driving an hour one way would permit. Haha. As the days passed, our love grew! By Monday, April 23, 2012 we had gone ring shopping and I fell in love with a ring. I tried not to show how much I liked the ring because I didn't want Bubby to feel obligated to get it. However, without me suspecting a thing Bubby bought the perfect ring for me soon after. (I don't know the day exactly.) Then to my great surprise, Bubby purposed on Tuesday, May 1, 2012!! What a wonderful day!! :) And of course I said yes.
Then the following months were filled with planning for the upcoming wedding. We changed dates a couple of times and ironed out the details. Finally, on Friday, July 27, 2012 Bubby and I were sealed for time and all eternity in the temple of the Lord!!! I would say that that day was the best day of my life but I would be lying. Each day after that blessed day has been the best day of my life along side the best man for me!!
So there you have it... The Bubby and Muddy Love Timeline! :D

Life Never Stops
A few months ago I thought that life would be so much calmer once I didn't have to be so far away from the man I love. I was thinking that the two hours of commuting that he did was cutting into my time and I didn't like it. Well, for those of you that don't know yet, I am now happily married and this blog is now called Life with Muddy and Bubby!! It has been a little over two months since I have had the great joy and pleasure to marry Bubby. I seriously couldn't dream of a better husband. I have had many times of pure happiness in his company. I definitely have adjusted quickly to being with someone 24/7. I feel empty if I spend more than an hour away from Bubby. I hope I never smother him. :) But he says he feels the same and I totally believe him.
Although I love being married to the absolute best man in the world, there are a few tough adjustments to the married life. My husband and I have talked about this particular difficulty a few times and find that we have a common challenge. This challenge is feeling like you fit in with the new circle of family and friends that we get put into. I often feel guilty for the fact that Bubby now has to be friends with all the boys in my family. I feel like I have forced him into friendships that he otherwise would never have made. Having mentioned this to my husband, we have talked about how it feels. He isn't sure what to say or think when he is around my family and I am the same around his wonderful family. He assures me that he loves my family but just isn't quite himself with them. That is how I feel when I am with his family. Then we look at how long we have actually known each other. Although it feels like I have known him for forever, it really has only been 7 months since we first laid eyes on each other. Now out of that 7 months, we have not spent much of that time in the company of each others families. With that being said we came to the conclusion that what we really need is time. Time will allow us to be able to come closer to our new and old loved ones. I just hope that they all stay patient with us!!
Another thing about married life that is different than I thought it would be is that it is much more fast paced than I hoped. :) We are constantly on the go. The only day of the week that we both have nothing to do is Sunday. Oh wait... We do have Church and callings that fill our time. But these tasks are refreshing and allow us to remain together. On Sundays the only time I am separated from Bubby is when he is in the Priesthood meeting and I am in the Relief Society meeting. We have callings as ward missionaries and family history consultants. It is so fun!! Bubby and I are the only "kids" in my family that speak Spanish so that leaves us with a lot to do on my daddy's side!!
Anyways with Church, classes, volleyball, and work we are kept busy and on our toes. Life is meant to be enjoyed and I hope that we don't get too busy to enjoy the journey like we learned in General Conference this weekend. We are loving life and each other. What more can we ask for?! Nothing. :)
