Day Eighteen

Today, I am so grateful for my health. There are so many health problems in the world. The problems could be physical, mental, etc. I am so glad that so far, I have been able to do everything that I want without any health issues! Thankfully I have the health! Bubby is healthier than I am and I'm so glad for that! :)

Day Seventeen

Today, I am grateful for the temples. We are so blessed here in America to have so many temples close. I love going to the temple and feeling the spirit that is there. It is the best thing ever to be there with Bubby. The Lord truly blesses us with his spirit and guidance when we go there regularly! I love the temple!

Day Sixteen

Today I am grateful for missions. Both Bubby and I were able to serve worthily for 2 years and 18 months respectively. I know that I learned SO MUCH from being among the Guatemalan people. I love them and all that they taught me! Bubby has also told me about how much he loves the people of Honduras! I am a witness to all that Bubby has learned. I am so grateful for these blessings!

Day Fifteen

Today I am so grateful for transportation! Walking everywhere would keep me in shape but it would take SO MUCH time! With cars and buses, I am able to get to where I need to be quickly and, therefore, get more done. :) Transportation is amazing!

Day Fourteen

I am so grateful for food today. I have met so many people that struggle everyday to put food on the table for their families. How blessed we are to be able to make a trip to Walmart and get what we need. I love food and I'm so glad it is not a trial I have had to face yet. Food is a blessing!

Day Thirteen

I am so grateful for the place we have to live. It was such a blessing to have found the apartments where we live. It feels like home! It is home! Home will always be where I can be with Bubby. This place is perfect for our budget and it's a great place to start our lives together! There are so many people that have less than a place to call home. Bubby and I are so blessed.

Day Twelve

I am so grateful for the chance I have to work.  I have been working for three weeks now and I couldn't ask for a better place to work!! I feel so welcomed and useful there!  It is a great place to be.  I even get to use my Spanish almost daily.  It really is wonderful! :) God has directed my life in a way that everything works out.  That includes me getting a job when I need it.  I am also grateful for the job that Bubby has.  He absolutely loves what he is doing!  That gives him the motivation to keep working each day.  He strives to get better and he provides for our family.  I am so proud of him and the hard work he does to help out our little family.  :)

Day Eleven

Today, I am grateful for heaters!  I am really not a fan of the cold.  During my last transfer of the mission, I was in a very cold area.  This really wouldn't have been a problem but the houses and builds did not have any heaters.  I wore my coat ALL THE TIME!!! It was not fun!  I was blessed enough to have a water heater though which I didn't have the rest of my mission.  So, heaters are blessings; whether they be for the air or the water.  I love heaters!!!

Day Ten

Today, I am so grateful that I have the priesthood of God in my home!  My husband is a worthy holder of the true priesthood of God and I am so proud of him!!  It is such a comfort to know that we can have the Lord's help when we call upon him.  I know that Bubby strives to be worthy and I pray that he always is!  I love having the priesthood in our home! :D

Day Nine!

Today, I am grateful for education! Both Bubby and I are in school right now and it is definitely a great part of life! We get to see each other on campus and next semester we will have classes together!! I truly love learning and pushing myself to be better. This stage in life will be gone before I know it. That will be weird!! Education is so wonderful!

Gratitude

Lately I've read a lot about people expressing their thanks for something different each day of November until Thanksgiving.  I think it is a wonderful way to count my blessings.  With that being said I need to catch up. :)

First, I am deeply grateful for my husband! He is everything I need to learn and become better in this life. I know that with him by my side I can achieve greatness in the eyes of God! Bubby, I love you!

Second, I am so grateful for my sisters. They have been my best friends for my whole life! They are always there to make me laugh and feel better! I'm so lucky tohave them in my life!

Third, I have the best brother ever!  I am so grateful that he is part of my family. We wouldn't be the same without him!

Fourth, I'm forever grateful for my parents! It is such a huge blessing to have them here to guide and help me! I know that not everyone has parents in their lives and even when they do have their parents, they aren't always the best.  I love my parents and trust them a lot!!



Fifth, I am grateful for the true and complete gospel of Christ in my life.  With this gospel, I strive to be a better person and be better towards other people.  How blessed I am to have the Lord on my side to help me through the ups and downs of life!

Sixth, I am grateful for America!  What a wonderful opportunity I have to live in a free country with the power to vote and work and worship how I choose.  It is a great blessing to be here!  I love the USA. :)

Seventh, I am extremely grateful for my grandparents.  I have both pairs of grandparents, which is a blessing alone.  Bubby is blessed to still have one grandpa and a step-grandma.  Grandparents are wonderful!  They have a connection to the past that is irreplaceable!  They help me learn through their stories and their love for me.

Eighth, I am grateful for the eternal connection I have with my husband!  Bubby and I are sealed together not only for time but for all eternity!!!  What a reassurance it is to know that I get to be by his side for always!  What a blessing it is to have him in my life.  He cares for me and shows his love for me always.  I just love him and couldn't ask for anyone better than Bubby!

Well now I am all caught up for the moment!  I hope that I can always be grateful and see the small miracles of my life.  I love this time of life!  The world seem to forget about Thanksgiving but I hope we can all remember!
